How to change and update personal account settings 

CHANGING YOUR ACCOUNT SETTINGS

To access your account settings, select Settings from the Settings Dropdown menu in the navigation bar.

 

On the My Account Settings page, you can update:

  • Date Format: Your chosen date format applies to imports and exports of company data.

  • Visibility: Hide your birthday from the calendar, birthday widget, and newsfeed.

  • Notifications: Receive notifications on the Namely site, via email, or on the mobile app.

  • Password: Change the password you use to log into your Namely account. You must know your current password in order to change it here. If you need to change your password and you can't remember your current one, click Forgot Password on the Namely login page.

Note: Any changes on the My Account Settings page will apply only to your personal Namely account.

UPDATING YOUR NOTIFICATIONS

To change your personal notifications settings, select the checkboxes next to the events you want to receive notifications for.

You can receive notifications for:

  • Time Off: Request Created: Receive a notification when a time-off request has been created that requires your response.

  • Time Off: Request Deleted: Receive a notification when a time-off request has been deleted.

  • Time Off: Request Responded To: Receive a notification when your time-off request has been responded to.

  • Time Off: Request Edited: Receive a notification when your time-off request has been edited.

  • File Export: Created: Receive a notification when a file export has been created.

  • eSignature: Requested: Receive a notification when your eSignature has been requested on a document.

  • I've been mentioned: Receive a notification when you've been mentioned in your company newsfeed.

  • A team I'm on has been mentioned: Receive a notification when your team has been mentioned in your company newsfeed.

  • Onboarding: Session Created Through ATS: Receive a notification when an onboarding session that requires your action has been created.

  • I've been appreciated: Receive a notification when you've been appreciated on your company newsfeed.

Note: Any changes to your notification settings will only apply to your personal Namely account.
